Did you know that the hardest hit page on the RAB website is “ceramic vs. porcelain tile”?
The Website Committee was surprised by this. We thought to ourselves - what else might interest the inquiring public and how could we get more of the public to visit our site? That’s when it hit us…add more articles that are relevant to today’s market and trends.
We came up with the overall theme “Green Building” for the articles with the following sub-topics: energy efficiency, water efficiency, indoor air quality, site design, governmental, and trends in green. We feel these headings are “hot topics” and broad enough to cover all kinds of topics.
Now, this is where your opportunity as a member comes in!
You can decide what the next article will be through sponsorship. For example, Rochester Public Utilities (RPU) wanted an article written about the benefits of energy efficient lamps, therefore, the Committee hired a writer to write a non-biased article about compact fluorescent lamps, LED lighting, etc. RPU sponsored the ad for a nominal fee of $250. This fee also included RPU’s banner ad at the top page of the article for as long as the article remains relevant and current. It’s cheap advertising!
To make sure we grab our visitor’s attention, a link has been added to the top of the home page and our writer writes the article with “headers” to help search engines focus in on your topics and key words within the articles.
Interested in sponsoring one of the headings and have an idea for an article? It’s simple - contact the RAB office and let us know! (507-282-7698)
