2008 BUILDERS SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Builders Association Awards Scholarships to Area Students Interested in the Construction Industry
Rochester Area Builders, a professional trade association which supports and promotes the building industry in Southeastern Minnesota, and the Builders Exchange of Rochester, a division of RAB, awarded three area high school students with $1,000 scholarships. The awards were presented on Tuesday, April 29th at the association’s General Membership Meeting. The students who received scholarships are pursuing careers associated with the building industry.
Two students were awarded with $1,000 scholarships from both Rochester Area Builders and the Builders Exchange of Rochester. The recipients are Ryan Doble, of Rochester, who will be attending the University of Minnesota to study architecture; and Cory Hanenberger, of Byron, who has enrolled in Rochester Community & Technical College to purse a degree in Building Utilities Maintenance. The third recipient, Sandro Krkljes, of Winona, was awarded a Rochester Area Builders scholarship and will study architecture or engineering at a college to be determined.
