 is a fresh new landscape. "Redoing the landscaping of a home really increases
 the curb appeal and can actually add 10 to 15 percent to the value of your home," said Shannon Bakken, landscape designer at Home Improvement Professionals. "It just makes you feel better driving up to your house every day."
++++ Far from a static industry, landscaping materials and plants change and develop rapidly. "There are new colors of rock and block retaining walls, new plants and trees that bloom longer, and new things to do with retaining walls," explained Bakken. "They're now very versatile"
++++ Designing a landscape takes a couple weeks, and an installation can take anywhere from three to ten days depending on the complexity of the materials and walls being planted and built.
