Projects

RPU has launched a new project tracking spreadsheet for dry utilities installation to synchronize workflows and prevent backlogs. This new spreadsheet came out of the RAB Development Services Advisory Committee meetings.

This effort will only work if everyone engages in the process and sends regular updates to RPU. This will help the dry utilities contractor staff up appropriately to complete all projects efficiently and quickly, prevent backlogs, and save you time and money.

Instructions

The new tracking spreadsheet can be found by visiting the Construction Center on RPU website and clicking on the Residential Subdivision Readiness Tracking link. RPU has created a dedicated email, SubdivisionReadiness@rpu.org, for all builders, engineers, consultants and others to use to provide updates on their project. The spreadsheet will be updated roughly every two weeks.

    • Bookmark the Construction Center page so you have easy access to the readiness tracking link. IMPORTANT: DO NOT BOOKMARK THE SPREADSHEET LINK ITSELF. The link changes with every update.
    • Send an update whenever you have one, no matter how small. RPU prefers more information rather than less.
    • For builders / developers: work with your consultant or engineer to designate one point-person to submit the updates on a regular cadence. One technique is to set regular, bi-weekly calendar reminders to send updates to RPU.

If you have questions, concerns, or new ideas for improving the development process, please contact RAB Executive Director Patrick Sexton.
