As southeastern Minnesota’s leader in construction, remodeling, and home improvement, RAB also strives to benefit our members in the professional growth of their businesses through participation, advocacy, education, and community involvement. Rochester Area Builders also serves as a resource for the Rochester, MN, area community by providing education about quality building practices.

Mission Statement

 

Rochester Area Builders, Inc., chartered in 1953, is a professional organization of commercial & residential builders, remodelers, developers, and associated businesses dedicated to advancing the building industry in Southeast Minnesota. We are the trusted voice of the industry, providing leadership, education, networking, and information resources to our members, community, and government officials.

Code of Ethics

 

The Corporation’s Code of Ethics is crucial to its mission. All Members of this Corporation shall agree to observe and support the following Code of Ethics:

  1. To conduct business affairs with professionalism and skill.
  2. To protect the consumer through the use of quality materials and construction practices backed by integrity and service.
  3. To keep informed regarding public policies and other essential information that affect our business interests and those of the building industry as a whole
  4. To comply with the rules and regulations prescribed by law and government agencies for the health, safety, and welfare of the community.
  5. To keep honesty as our guiding business policy.
  6. To seek to resolve controversies through a non-litigation dispute resolution when possible.
  7. To support and abide by the decisions of the associations in promoting and enforcing this Code of Ethics.

Members assume the responsibilities in this Code of Ethics freely and solemnly and are mindful that these responsibilities are a part of their obligation as members of Rochester Area Builders, Inc.
